Access Statement

Lingen Hall is a luxurious retreat for a family celebration, reunion or special birthday. it also provides a stylish location for corporate retreats, meetings, location shoots, and training days.

Lingen Hall is situated in the rolling Herefordshire countryside in 12 acres of grounds. Beyond the landscaped garden and terrace you will find a heated outdoor swimming pool, woodland, orchard, rhododendron walk and babbling brook. Beyond that you will be able to explore Wales, Herefordshire, Shropshire and the borderlands. We have tried to include as much information as possible within this statement to assist guests in their stay. If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to ask. We look forward to welcoming you.

The nearest train stations to Lingen Hall are Ludlow and Leominster. (10 miles) Hereford 19 miles.

Unfortunately there are no bus services in Lingen.

Shobdon Airfield is 4 miles away.

Our House Manager Georgie, will happily accept food deliveries ahead of your arrival. Please organise a mutually convenient time on your day of arrival directly with her via the admin@lingenhall.co.uk email address. The supermarkets that provide delivery to the local area are: Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco, Morrisons and Asda.

Arrival: The car park is situated in front of the house, to the side and rear of Lingen Hall. There is also additional car parking should guests require it further down the driveway.

The front entrance has one step 8cm high. The door is 100cm wide and is hinged from the left.

Entering Lingen Hall from the main entrance door, you step into the porch and meet a glass door, hinged from the left 98cm wide entering into the entrance hall.

Every doorway there on is a minimum of 98cm wide and on the same level with no additional steps on the ground floor of the house, however leading to bedroom 13, down the rear corridor there is a 5cm high shallow ramp.

The ground floor is home to our easy access bedroom, with an easy access shower. The doors to the bedroom and ensuite are 79cm wide. There is a small step into the shower over the edge of the shower, the ensuite door width is 82cm wide.

Heating: The property is fitted with underfloor heating throughout.

All thermostats downstairs are set to a comfortable temperature.

Upstairs, each bedroom is fitted with their own thermostat which can be altered to a guests preference.

Overnight the thermostats will re set, so will need to be adjusted daily.

Ensuites are all fitted with heated towel rails.

The outdoor swimming pool is heated by ground source heating and is set to between 25-30c. This will alter depending on the weather outside.

Please refrain from changing any of the settings on the heat pump.

Hot water will be in ample supply.
