Lingen Hall gives your team room to work together and room to step away. The elegant ballroom is the natural home for presentations, workshops and strategy sessions, while the drawing room, with its sofas and log burner, suits smaller breakout groups or a more informal discussion.

The dining room seats 26 around one table for working lunches, and on warmer days the terrace and the Lakehouse offer a change of scene in the fresh air. With 12 acres of grounds to explore, there’s always a quiet spot for a one-to-one walk or a few minutes to think before the next session.

Our chefs and staff know Lingen Hall inside out and have plenty of experience hosting retreats here.

They can take care of everything from breakfast and working lunches to a relaxed barbecue on the terrace or a celebration dinner on your final night, and each menu is planned around your group and your schedule.

With the cooking, serving and clearing away handled for you, your team can stay focused on the work, and on enjoying each other’s company once it’s done.

Bring the whole team together around one long table that seats 20. It works as well for a working lunch or a planning session as it does for a relaxed celebration dinner on your final night, with our chefs and staff taking care of every course.

are cloakrooms, a handy laundry, and boot rooms, plus a pretty, light filled, accessible bedroom with easy level entry, king sized bed and spacious en-suite shower room.

Lingen Hall sleeps 26 in 13 bedrooms: 2 super king, 8 king, 1 double and 2 twin rooms, each with its own bath or shower room.

The grounds

Step outside into 12 acres of landscaped grounds, with woodland, a rhododendron walk, terraced lawns, an orchard and a babbling brook. It’s the perfect setting for a walking meeting or a breather between sessions, and when the day’s work is done your team can swim in the heated outdoor pool (open April to October), relax in the lakeside sauna or gather around the fire bowls at the Lakehouse.
